Natalie Bassingthwaighte's Album '1000 Stars' Debuts At #1!

"This is the first time I've been able to fully express myself creatively" said Nat, "I've had so many amazing experiences in my career, I've been punky with the Rogue Traders and more sophisticated as a TV host and I've played characters on stage and TV and had so many costumes and outfits. This album allowed me to strip back all that and just be the real me. It is the sum of all those things in my life so far".
Since her breakthrough role as Izzy on Neighbours, Natalie has enjoyed huge success as the lead singer of electro - rock act, Rogue Traders which spawned 4 x platinum sales for their release; Here Come the Drums including 4 x top 20 air play songs, 2 x top 5 commercial singles, 2 critically acclaimed national tours and seven Aria nominations. 2007's follow up Better In The Dark also spawned multiple hit singles including 'Don't You Wanna Feel' and 'I Never Liked You' and reached platinum sales. Natalie is also currently the host of Network 10's 'So You Think You Can Dance'.

A run of East Coast all ages shows were recently announced to support the release of her album '1000 Stars'. The shows, which will take Nat and her band to some regional markets on the East Coast, have been scheduled around Nat's 'So You Think You Can Dance' commitments and will see her perform songs from her album '1000 Stars'.
